Christmas presents

Today I saw an ad about a boy who couldn't wait for christmas.When the boy wok up he went to his advent calendar and he got a chocolate out of the advent calendar.When he got the chocolate he got disappointed because time wouldn't go faster so he got so disappointed.Then  the boy got very very disappointed because he wanted time go faster and faster because he wanted it to be christmas but time went slow and slower.Then the boy got into a magic clothes and faster but it did not work for him and he got mad.Then when he was eating his food he was rushing his dinner and then he went to bed early and he went to sleep.Then it was morning and he got up and he had a bunch of presents and he just ignored it and he went to his cupboard and he got to give his present to his mum and dad.I was surprised because he just ignored his presents and went to get his present for his mum and dad.

I will get my parents some cothes and shoes and a red car and also some money.I would get them some cothes and shoes because they buy me some cothes and shoes all the time.I would get them a red car so we can have two cars and we can go up north.

Off to the museum

Yesterday the year 3 and some helpful parents and teachers went to the museum.We went to the Auckland museum because my class was learning about fossil and dinosaur.We also went so we can experience the museum.When we got to the museum i really felt really excited because the museum looked very enormous and so cool.

When we got into to the museum we put away our bags and we went up to the room it looked like a bee hive when we got inside the room a person named josh showed us a picture of a emormous T-Rex. Then josh said lets be paleontologist. Then Paige volunteered to be a paleontologist and Jacob volunteered to also be a paleontologist and then Arthur also volunteered to also be a paleontologist. I also liked the volcano house when we went into the vaken house we sat on the ground. when it started a tv came on and it was the news then the vaken pooled up and the town got burnt. When it erupted up this boy in my team nearly ran out but a teacher grabbed him then it was over. The third thing I liked was when we took a photo with a Maori man. we also saw the fossil room the fossil room was filled with dinosaur and one Moa. the girl Moa was the biggest Moa but the boy Moa was smaller. we also saw happy feet. we took a photo with happy feet. I was over the moon to take a photo with happy feet.

I enjoyed it very much because we went to the museum and we got to have a treasure hunt. I had fun with my teammates very much and also we got to go and find things and some of us get to be a photographer. That is a person that takes photos but only some of us got a try with the camera.I would like to go to the museum when am a year 4 because I will have so much fun with my class.

Performance Recount

Today at Pt England school room 14 was going to perform a dance and song because year 3 are leaning about dinosaur.The song is called there's one in the bush.

I was very very happy because when we got on the stage and we got into our positiuns my legs were ok.I was very very happy because I wanted to perform.

I felt very happy because everyone was laughing at Arthur because he was dancing so so so funny.I would like to do the performance again because when we did the performance i felt so so excited.I want to do the performance again in assembly with my Halle class room 14 and Mr Blakey.

Diplodocus

Diplodocus was an amazing dinosaur. Diplodocus was the longest herbivore animal dinosaur that lived millions of years ago.He was one of the biggest dinosaurs in the earth.The diplodocus had an long neck to reach leaves also the diplodocus had flat teeth. Also the diplodocus had a long tail to whack other dinosaur if the dinosaur is attacking the diplodocus.The diplodocus had flat teeth so it can chew on the leaves and all sorts of plants.The diplodocus also has kind of short legs and legs. If another dinosaur is attacking the dinosaur it can scratch the dinosaur that is attacking the it dinosaur.

NZ Navy Band

Yesterday room 14 went to the hall because the navy bard came to our school.The whole school went to the hall to see the navy band. They were performing songs. When we got to the hall the navy band was there and I didn't know the navy band and they played a song.

When we all got into the hall the navy band did I song it was Katy Perry roar the navy band told use to sand up to singe roar.My favourite part was the water gun part because they wet use with a water gun I got wet then they did I rob after that they did a stay wars.I leaned that if you play all sorts of songs you will be great when you play.It was cool, amazing and so so good because they did lots of jazz and classical,pop songs they were great.

When they did I felt happy to see the navy band and I hope that we see them again but it was so amazing when they did there song because they did lots of different songs for my school they were so great.It made me want to play lots of instrument but I want to play the electrical guitar because it looks so amazing.

Survors

On Monday morning we went to the hall for assembly.  We went to the hall because my school

had a new theme which was survivors.  When the whole school got into the hall Mr Burt put on a video the showed that some animals are survivors and some animals did not survive.

My favourite part in the assembly was the noodie contest because team 4 was doing a noodle contest and had to eat a plate of noodles.They had to eat the noodle with chop sticks.It looked very hard but one of the teachers won because the tearher could use chop sticks.All the another teachers did not know who to use chopsticks and they were not happy they didn't won the contest.It was so cool because the teacher that won was very happy.That fabulous thing in the assembly was the noodles race because it was an interesting part and also an amazing thing.

That assembly was an the most amazing assembly in the word because its the most run assembly.I learned that some people survive and some people do not survive that's why the theme of this week is survors.

A singer 's main role is to entertain an audience by writing and performing great music.  Being a singer is the best job.  Also being a singer is a cool job because you can perform in front of people.  If you are a singer it will be a great and cool job for you.

The colour of my house is kind of pink and my top house is kind of brown.The size of my house is kind of huge and small. My house is pretty old and I have a garage. We keep my brothers bike in there.I have two trees in my backyard.One of them is a peach tree and the other one is a flax tree. In my house I have three rooms and one toilet and one bathroom.I also have one floor in my house. I have a brown door.

Little red riding hood and the three little pigs

Once upon time a little girl went into the forest and  her name was little red riding hood.When she went into the forest  it was so dark that all the trees was looking at her.When she also went into the forest it was stormy and hail fall down on her head and she got so wet.

Then 3 little pigs was fighting over a pie because one of the pigs wanted the pie to them self.Then suddenly a girl walked into the forest and it was little red riding hood.Little red riding hood said to the little pigs "stop fighting over that pie". But the 3 little pigs did not stop fighting over that pie because it was a mince and cheese pie.Then little red riding hood snatched the pie off the pigs and run to the house and gave it to her gran.The grandmother felt so grateful. They lived happily ever after.

Cross Coountry

We all lined up along the start line.When we where going to run I looked up at the sky and the sky looked kind of blue and gray.When we all went to go on the start line I was feeling nervous and worried that I was going to be came last but I came 6 and I was happy to came 6 in cross country.When Mr Burt clapped we all run and my heart was beating fast and the ground was so muddy that I nearly fall of and got muddy.I looked at the other runners and they nearly fall of to but they just run.When I got to the end I was feeling happy and exhausted that I came 6 but I was happy that I came 6 in cross country.

Why I was late for school

When I came to school it was just normal.It was a normal day for me,was just waking down the road with my sisters.I woke up at 7:00 am and I made my bed and I had breakfast. My day was a good day because when I came to school my sister made my lunch then we went to school.

But when I was walking to school I saw a spaceship came out of the sky and then aliens attacked me and my sisters!One of the aliens had a alien gun then I saw all of them have a alien gun.Then a dinosaur came out of nowhere and scared the aliens away then the dinosaur chased me.Then out of nowhere a pony came out of nowhere and took me to Fiji and I had fun there.Then my favourite movie stay came  with her jet plane and all her things and her jet plane.Then she gave me you things and you jet plane.Then I came to school and everybody wanted to have a ride in my jet plane but I said no!That is why I was late for school.

Poem I love the rain

I love the rain because it helps kids and plants.I also love the rain because kids can drink it and when the rain falls it looks beautiful.

Rainy Monday

On Monday it was a stormy day.Today when I came to school it was spitting little drops and I saw birds chirping in the trees.When I also came to school I was freezing and I saw plants falling and hail storm.The thunder storm was a very very heavy storm and the lighting flashed.

I was feeling cold sad wet chilly and I wished that I was in Fiji with my family because in Fiji it has a nice blue sea and I can relax in the hot pool.

Feeding the birds

Holding our piece of bread,we crept on to the field to feed the gulls.When we got onto the field,we went in a sensibly long quietly line so we will not scared  the gulls.

After we walked in a sensibly line we threw our bread onto the field so the gulls will came down to swipe the bread.

Ratcatcher

A ratcatcher's job is to catch as many rats as they can in one day. The rat catch climb down to the disgusting sewer. The ratcatcher kills the rat so they would not spread disease.

There is two different ways the ratcatchers use to kill rats.The ratcatchers use a gun and some dogs. They also do not use big dogs because they will get stuck in the sewerage and when they kill the rats they will bury them.

Dear Awkward Guys,

Yesterday, I saw you having serious problems running down the road in your brand new running gear.  It looked like you were really in need of some help, so I decided to write to you to give you two tips.

Firstly you should look a straight ahead so you won't bump into people or trees.If you bump into people they will be really hurt and they will have to go to the hospital.

You have to bend your arms to run more faster.You also have to make more power and energy so you can run as fast as you can.

IS our school field water disgusting muddy?Our school field is not opened because it is wet and disgusting.Our school children can not play in the muddy water disgusting field.

In Cook Lsland we can climb the coconut tree.We need the coconut to sell in the market.When it's a hot sunny day I can go for a swimm in the blue water.At the Cook Lsland th Cook Lsland people are friendly and happy.At Cook Lsland they sing and do funny dancing and they have delicious food

Weaving harakeke

Today we weaved a fish out of harakeke.First we did a big loop then my partner put his harakeke though then he put his one around and though the loop again.Then we got any of the harakeke and we put it though the middle. Then we put it under the middle and then we got some sices and cut the end of the harakeke and that is how you make a fish out of harakeke.It was fun and so cool.

Kiwi sports basketball

We played basketball on Monday morning with coach vinnie and coach shanice.Coach vinnie know a lot about basketball ball.Coach shanice is kind and helpful.

We played lots of games to learn the new skills to play basketball properly.We also know not to double dribble we learned how to play basketball. We also played golden child which was a fun and awesome game.

Matariki

Matariki is the name of the group of stars that a appear in the winter night sky.It marks the beainning of the Maori new year witch is a time for people to celebrate.

There are lots of different ways to celebrate matariki. We sing sad song to remember our favourite friends.We also can let off fireworks for matariki and share Kai if our friends do not have food.

Our trees

Trees supply oxygen to help us breathe. They provide  home for wildlife and shelter for everything. Trees help make our world more beautiful and we are lucky to have some amazing trees at Pt England school.

From faraway we can see the macrocarpa.Its trunk looks so strong and the branch is big.Trees drink water  because when they drink it it makes it go up in to the sky.

Close up it looks like the trees are touching the sky. Also it's leaves are soft and looks giant. The bark feels hard and looks tall as the trees try to catch the sun.

Old Mother Hubbard

Morning walk.

This morning we went for a walk.We were walking on the grass which was wet and frosty.The grass looked white and frozen.

When we were walking we saw spider webs glisening in the morning sun.After we were looking at the spider webs we went down to the last tree and there were big droplets of water.Also when when we went to the last tree we saw the sun shining on the spider webs and it was beautiful.

Also when we finish  looking at the spider webs we saw a Kereru in the big trees.When we were walking we saw a horse raning across the grass.Also when we looked at the beach it was fog and we saw a magpie which was sitting on a tree with a Kereru.

Mr Burt

Mr Burt is our principal and he wears Nice fancy clothes.He is older than mr Blakey and he looks strong.Also Mr Burt looks handsome and his shoes look shiny.

His  office is fantastic because his office smells like perfume and it is huge. Also he has a sculpture of dinosaur bones and a printer. He has a chair that spins around like a tornado.

Mr Burt is very busy because he shows the visitors our school because he is proud of his students.Mr Burt stops people from playing rugby and looks after our school.Also Mr Burt gives good people stickers and walks around the school to see if we are being good.

The Snails

Snails look slimy so they are not good to touch.They have a shell which is hard

and protects it.

They live in the shade because they like to hide.We can easily find snails on trees and rocks where they live.

The Snails eat leits and banana and yammy  carrot because carrot and leits and banana is healthy.Snails love carrot.

Our playground.

The whole school uses our playground.Its on the bottom field and it's near the kindergarten.The playground is also by the wrases.

It is made out of wood and metal.It is colourful and long and wide.

There are lots of things that we can play on on the playground.My favourite thing is the super super flying fox. My  other  best best thing is the tornado. I like the flying fox and the tornado because it is so so fun and amazing.

The park is so so so fun because we can have lots of fun with my friends.I like the park.
