Immersion Assembly- Art Alive

 Monday the 12th of October was the first day back for Term 4. In the morning at 9:00 am Team 5 headed to the hall for Immersion assembly along with the rest of the school. The theme for Term 4 is Art Alive.

My two favourite items were Team 5 and Team 4. Team 5 was my 1st favourite item and they performed a play, it was about two people walking around an exhibition looking at the different arts and describing what they are. Team 4 was my 2nd favourite item and they had a video and it was about the teachers on their hangout talking about what their item was about, they each had to draw something and when they were done they had to judge each other's art, they then had to choose the best one the best art was Miss Tu’a her one was patterns.

I am so excited for this Term because it’s about Art and I can’t wait for what the teachers have planned for this Term Art Alive.

Immersion Assembly

Walt: using exciting language.

Today is the first day back for Term 3.Today Pt England School had an Immersion Assembly,we watched the other Teams Videos and Skits. Have you ever had an Immersion Assembly at your school before?

Pt England’s theme for this Term is Move Ya’ Body.I think that the school theme is about Fitness,Dancing because we did a lot of dancing at Assembly.I think the name Move Ya’ Body is all about Movement,Heath and Fitness.In the videos that i saw at Assembly were mostly about Health and Active things,so that’s what we might focus on for this term.
Team’s 4 topic is about staying active at school and also Fitness and heath. I also think that Team 4 topic is about doing exercise a lot at school, and having fun while doing it. In Team 4 topic it was about the Team 4 teachers trying to create a active game,in the video a noticed that there was a lot of active things going on.In Team 4’s video it looks like we are going to be doing a lot of active things, and focusing on our health. 

In Term 3 i really want to learn about staying Fit and keeping Fit and staying Healthy.I Hope to learn more about Nutrition because i don’t know that much about Nutrition so i hope to learn more about that.I also want to learn more about Health like eating the right food and having a great attitude. I want to mostly focus on staying active at school like joining more sports and playing with my friends at lunch so i’m not just watching other people do things.

I think that this term’s theme is great because it’s all about doing lots of exercise and staying healthy.I also think that this term’s theme is good because this year we might be doing lots of running and learning about healthy food.This term’s theme is very good because doing fitness can help a lot of people with there eating and running.

Immersion Assembly

It was back to school on Monday we had an Immersion Assembly. When we got into the hall some of the teachers were wearing funky wigs and clothes. Then assembly started and then our principal Mr Burt was wearing a funky wig and clothes and Mr Jacobson and Mrs Nui to they went on the stage and then Mr Burt and them were performing a song and it was called Musical Madness it went like this, Musical Madness,Musical Madness and that's all i newer. The song was a very funky song.

Then after that it was Team 1 theme they were acting one of the teachers grabbed out the cards and were playing Snap,then they put music on and then we they started playing they started getting tired, sad, anger. Then one of the teacher said for Team 1 we are going to listen to songs and make there own songs.

Team 2 was acting too,one of the teacher went on the stage with a ukulele and she was singing In the Jungle and it went they like this,In the Jungle the mighty Jungle the lion sleeps tonight and then some of the Team 2 teachers joining her on the stage and was playing an instrument.Then the teacher said Team 2 is also going to make songs and listen to them.

Team 3 is also creating songs and listen to them.In their video they did lip siken to there favourite song.

Team 4 topic is learning how to make there own soundtrack.In the Team 4 movie it was about the Team 4 teachers in the car and singing there favorite song.  Then when they parked up then they saw Mr Jacobson and then he looked at him and then Mr J played his song and it was funny.

Team 5 is learning about music and watch things that does your emotions.In there one they did the teachers from Team 5 and watching the movie and putting it in different ways. Team 5 is doing i fun thing.
