Zamera and Leilani Food Pyramid Rap

Walt: think from the perspective of characters in the story. Task  Description: For this task we had to get into pears and then we had to write a food pyramid rap. We had to do 5 or 6 verse's and it can't be less than 5 when you finish the rap you have to practice recording and then we your finish you have to ask the teacher if you can go in the quite room or outside and then record your rap.We had to record it on screencastifly and then we you finish

Just Clean It

Walt: structure a recount
Today we did something extremely exciting that involves rubbish.
We did something with our teacher and class.Have you ever picked up rubbish with your class before?


When we were walking down to the reserve in the frosty, nippy arctic breeze I was really cold but I could
handle it .Our teacher said” how we had to behavior and how we had to be down at Pt England
Reserve”. Our teacher said “when we get down their we have to get into groups of 4 or 5”. When
we got down to the field we got into a group of 5 in my group we had a mixture of boys and girls.
My teacher told us the rules which meant there was  boundaries which you couldn't go past and
it was a contest and the team that win’s, get’s to do 10 minutes of Cool Maths games . I was feeling
really excited because I love doing Cool Maths games so I was really aggressive to win, then our
teacher gave each team a bag for there rubbish then when my teacher blows the whistle all the teams
have to go back to him and can’t pick up anymore rubbish and if your team went beyond the boundaries
then you team would get disqualified.


When we got down to the field my hole class got into there groups of 4 or 5 I was in a group of 5. My
teacher told us were we had to stay in to get the rubbish and then he said”, Read,Set Go” my whole
group split to find as many rubbish as we could,when we were down at Pt England Reserve it was
pretty clean but there was still a little bit of rubbish left . When we were picking up the rubbish, our bag
was pretty full but more and more rubbish just kept going in. As we were down at the field it wasn’t
just about picking up rubbish it was about keeping our school and community clean so we can live
in a good environment ,then when my teacher blew the whistle my hole group ran then he said we
were going to go back to our school to clean it. When we got to the bottom field he said”, Go” so all
the teams ran off to find rubbish then minutes later our teacher said we were going to the top field.
When we got to the field our teacher sent us off straight away then as I was running over to the trees I
accidentally slipped and fell on my butt my butt was freezing then my friend was laughing but then I got
back up and found some more rubbish.


Last 10 seconds,my teacher blew the whistle and then said all the teams have to run to the library and
sit outside of it.My team got there first and we were waiting and waiting for all the other teams,we all
got to the library and sat down in our team lines. My teacher said” Miss Haere will check which bag is
the heavyist and which bag has the right things in it, and not has, grass, wood, or stones in it”,my team
was up first so Miss Haere felt the bag,checking if there was anything that wasn’t supposed to be in
there and then looked in it then she said” Yup this bag is pretty good”.Then she went to other other
teams but there bags were little but there was one team the was close to us. Out of all the teams one
team had something that got them disquaflied and it was a girls team they had a jandle in there bag
then as Miss Haere was walking back to the middle she announced the winning team, the team that
one was MY TEAM I was so jolly happy that my team one. I think the only reason why my team one
was because we worked as a team to fill our bag up and because we were all kind to each other no
mean so i think team work might get you to win.

At the end of our experience of rubbish my teams bag was half full from picking up the rubbish from
the reserve and the bottom field at our school. Then when we went up to the top field there was loads
of rubbish but we picked them up. After that our school was clean and the reserve we should always
keep our school and community clean.
Task Description: For this task we did an experiment about picking up rubbish,and keeping our school and community clean.In this experiment the team that wins gets to do 10 minutes of Cool Maths Games.After we did the experiment we had to do a writing and this is the writing we are doing.When i finished i got my friend to check my work and i checking her work.When we finish we have to ask our teacher if we can post it and if he says yes then we can.
