WALT: understand the elements of informational writing
My topic for today is what exactly is a Viper.I will be writing about where
Vipers live and what Vipers eat
and also what they do.
Also do you know that the Varsity Rugby Club, their mascot is a Viper.

Vipers you might be wondering what is a Viper.
Well a Viper is a snake, a Viper comes from a family of venomous snakes.
What Viper eat? Well Vipers eat a variety of food depending on the size of the Snake.
Prey includes small mammals,Birds,Lizards and eggs.
Well according to Savitzky when there prey is dead they swallow it whole.

What a Viper Looks like? Well you may be thinking that it looks like other snakes
because it is a snake but the Viper has a stocky body,a wide head, and long hinged fangs at
the front of its mouth for injecting venom. Also the venom causes a very painful wound that
can be fatal.

When you get bitten from a Viper can you die?
Well I don’t really know this question that much because i've never been bitten
by a Viper but I can tell you these things.A common symptom of a bite from a
venomous Viper is the presence of two puncture wounds from the Vipers fangs.
The venom may cause bleeding, kidney failure, a severe allergic reaction ,
tissue death around the wound and also breathing problems.
So I recommend to stay right away from a Viper.

Last but not least,Where do Vipers Live?
Well Vipers are found in most parts of the world ,
with the expedition of Antarctica ,Australia,Hawaii,Madagascar,New Zealand,V
arious other isolated island , and north of the Arctic Circle.
What do Vipers do with there eggs?Well they build a nest for there eggs ,
and even stays with the hatch lings for a while after they have hatched.
But Vipers, rattlesnakes, boas and most of the sea snakes give birth to live young.

Well there you have some facts about a Viper.
