Rata and the Totara tree
Task Description: This is my reading task and its about Rata and the Totara tree. We had to listen to the story on slide two, then we had to watch the video and read the two text. After that we had to do a story but we had to write what happen so there was only pictures there to help us We then had to break the words in word groups and record our self reading the paragraph on slide 6. We then had to find on word group and make three other sentences that have that word in the sentence. Last one was to do a create task a wrote a little review of the story. This task was pretty hard but it was good at the same time because if it's hard then it's helping our brains.:)

Kia ora Zamera,
ReplyDeleteI really enjoyed reading your storyboard of the story, Rātā and the Tōtara Tree. It is easy to follow because you have numbered the images and the captions in the order they are to be read in. You have also done a solid job of the putting word groups from the text into your new sentences - keep borrowing standout phrases/words from what you read to give your writing a real lift! Keep giving your brain a good workout Zamera - your hard work is definitely paying off - well done!
Kia Ora Ms Taupke,
