WALT: use correct sentence structure
Task Description: Today task is Week 9 and Term 2. This is my literacy work and we had to read a text which was called A Brush with the dark side. We had to read the text and after we finished reading the text we had to answer question about what the story is about and what can we take from this text to our writing. Then we had to highlight the independent and dependent in different colours. Then on the last slide we had to write one sentences under the three pictures on slide six. This task was nice and easy and fun. :)
I am a Year 8 learner in Room 2 at Pt England School in Auckland, NZ. My teacher is Ms. Tapuke.

First Maths Blog Post- Term 2
Walt: interpret the information presented within graphs
Task Description: For this task we had to do Bar Graphs! In the bar graphs the question were how many people liked this fruit, or how many people took the survey. Doing this task was fun and was easy but not to easy. I got stuck on some question but I manged to do it. My favortie part of this was creating our own bar graph. When were finish we have to post it on our blog with a task description, labels and a title.

Then after we read the book we had to go on to out task.Then after that task we had to read another book about Moa's too but it was about scientists bringing back the Moa's. When we finish that we had to ask our teacher if we can post it on our blog and if she say yes then we can, we have to post it on our blog with as task description and a Walt.

Task Description:For this task we had to read a text the first text was about a boy who loves taking out the trash because he gets to drive his dads truck down the driveway but then one day he hit one of his neighbors car and he didn't say anything about it and he lied.Then after we read that we had to do the task and answer question.Then we had to read another text which was about a emperor gave seeds to little kids and they had to grow it and they had to bring it back in a year,then one boys seed didn't grow but then he became the emperor then we had to do the task.When we finish we have to ask the teacher if we can post it and she says yes then we can.

Everything Goes Down Hill
WALT: Hook our readers in by appealing to our target audience
One day there was a girl and her name was Emma she was 10 years old and also the oldest out of her siblings, then there’s her brother Jonathan 7 years old and the last one her little brother Nathan he was only 5 years old.They all made up a plan between themselves and the plan was to get there Car cart and ride it down their neighbourhood road but the road was steep it can make you go flying and you might end up in hosplite. They all agreed on doing it the next day they all couldn't wait.
So today is the day they go riding down the hill they get their Car cart and Nathan hops into the driver's seat and the Jonathan at the back getting ready to push it and then Emma sitting in the front, they all count down 3,2,1 then Jonathan use all of his speed and push it while hanging on they shoot down fast like a meteor is coming to earth and Jonathan is almost flying but lucky his holding on to the Cart.There all screaming people are coming out of their housing to see what's happening and they can’t believe her eyes there yelling at them telling them to stop when Nathan tries to pull the back it breaks off and they can’t break.Jonathan and Nathan thought it was the end they thought they were going to end up in hosplite.
But lucky Emma spotted a bush she yelled turn to the bushes so Nathan turned the wheel and they went flying down towards the bush they all crashed into the bush.They were all so relieved that nothing really bad happened.The neighbours came running down saying are you alright lucky they were alright they only had a few bruises and a few scratches but they were all fine except for the Car cart.All of them agreed to never do anything dump like that or else they might just end up in hosplite. THE END.
This is the picture we had to write about.
Task Description:For this task we had to write a story based around a picture when were writing we use the word T.O.P.S which stands for Title,Orientation,Problem and Solution. When doing this we had to use these things to help us with it.We didn't have to write it big but I just wanted to.When we finish doing our writing we have to post it into blogger then put a Task Description,Labels and a Title.Then we post it onto our blog.

Is It to Big? Perimeter?

Yesterday straight after lunch we were so lucky to have a Duffy
performance at Point England School.Duffy people come and tell us
that we are so lucky to read.In the hall Duffy the people were going

every year and do a performance. There is a kind man that gives out
books to schools and his name is Allen Duff.
