Super Rugby and How to Spot fake news

Task Description: This is my work for Week 11. I really enjoyed doing this task because we got to choose any article to write about. I chose Super rugby to summarise about. First I summarised what the article was about and then I wrote down how to spot fake news. There are three ways to spot fake news on my slides. This task was fun.

Create task- No fangs

Task Description: This was a nice and easy task because we could choose what book we read and any create task we wanted to do. I read a book called No Fangs and I also did a summarise of the story and I put in a image of The Originals because it's a Netflix film and it involves vampires. I did a summarise of the book and I think I got everything from the story but the task was fun because it was a create task.

A brush with the dark side

WALT: use correct sentence structure
Task Description: Today task is Week 9 and Term 2. This is my literacy work and we had to read a text which was called A Brush with the dark side. We had to read the text and after we finished reading the text we had to answer question about what the story is about and what can we take from this text to our writing. Then we had to highlight the independent and dependent in different colours. Then on the last slide we had to write one sentences under the three pictures on slide six. This task was nice and easy and fun. :)

This is just to say

Task Description: Today is Week 9 and Term 2. This is my literacy work for Week 9. We just went over what we learned two weeks ago and it was grammar. What we had to do was write down how many clause are in each sentence and what the subject is and verb. After we finished that we had to write down something naughty we did when we were little and write who was angry at us, why were the angry at us and what was our excuse for doing that. We then had to write down our naughty thing we did when we were little on slide five in the poem. We then had to do put it on a google drawing and make it look pretty.

Introduction to Narratives

WALT: follow the structure of a narrative

Task Description: This task was about narratives. We had to drag the sentence to the correct location on slide four which was about little red riding hood. Then on slide five we had to read a text and then answer some question and then on slide six we had to plot the story about the text Examination day. This task was hard but easy at the same time.

The Future- Writing

WALT: craft well-written sentences

Task Description: For this task we had to watch a couple of videos of what life will be like in a 100 years. Then after we watched the video our teacher read out  a text and we had to try and write down what she was saying it wasn't a test but she just wanted us to try something new. After that we had to write what we imaged what earth will be like in 2057. After that we have to post it on our blog with a task description, labels and a title. Hope You Enjoy!

First Blog Post Of Term 2- Reading- One Strange Planet

Task Description: For this task we had to read a text which was One Strange Planet. The text was about different planets being discovered. Doing this task was fun. After we finished reading the text we had to write down the meaning's of some words. Then after that we had the chance to choose which task we would like to do and I chooses Information Web. After we finished we post it on our blog with a task description, labels and a title.

How Bikes Work

A Bike is something you can ride anywhere and is faster than walking. There are two wheels, one in the back and one in the front,there is also one saddle to set on.There is two pedals to paddle with your feet faster. There is a brake to stop with if you're going to fast.There are handlebars.

I bike is something where if you don’t want to walk then you can ride.I had two bikes but then i broke them.When you ride a bike the front wheel and the back wheel go round and round. Then in the front of you there are handlebars where you hold on and then that's what you move with.

Then if you are ride on your bike and you are going fast and you want to stop there is brakes where you can stop if you want to.There are also the chains that help the wheels go  up and down hills.
