As I saw it

 

Task Description: This is my task and it's called As I saw it. I worked on this with Oalii and we had to write down what our object was and explain what it was used for. Me and Oalii did two separate slides slides of what our objects were when we finished that we had to explain who had our object, this was a fun task to do.Check out Oalii's blog.

Terrific Transformation


Task Description: This is my maths work for Week 10 and Term 2. What we had to do was write the answer down on slide two. We had to enlarge the shape by the number that was put down. Then on slide three we had to draw a line on each shape and see if it will look like the same shape in a mirror. We then had to write down the order of symmetry and line of symmetry. Then we had to reflect the shape over each axis.

Stand Up- Reading

WALT: combine and condense ideas and information from a range of texts to form and synthesise a new idea.
Task Description: This is my reading task for Week 10 and Term 2. We had to read a book about different protest that was in NZ. After we read the book we went over the question and answer what that protest was about or what the movement was. We then had to do a create task, go my create task is on it's own. :)

The Moa and The Return Of the Moa

WALT: Analyse the meaning behind language features used in a text

Task Description: For this task we had to read the first book and the book was about Moa's. Then after we read the book we had to go on to out task.Then after that task we had to read another book about Moa's too but it was about scientists bringing back the Moa's. When we finish that we had to ask our teacher if we can post it on our blog and if she say yes then we can, we have to post it on our blog with as task description and a Walt.

New Fence

WALT: explain solutions using story context and Maths terms

Task Description:For this task we were in a group of four and in my group was King,Shania and Calais.We had a problem and the title of the problem was New Fence.The question were How much wood did Mr Shaw have left.It said Mr Shaw had this much wood and he cut of this much then we had to figure it out.When we finish we have to ask our teacher if we can post it on our blog and if she says yes then we can.
