WALT: Find key words/ideas to summarise a text

Task Description:For this task we had to read a text the first text was about a boy who loves taking out the trash because he gets to drive his dads truck down the driveway but then one day he hit one of his neighbors car and he didn't say anything about it and he lied.Then after we read that we had to do the task and answer question.Then we had to read another text which was about a emperor gave seeds to little kids and they had to grow it and they had to bring it back in a year,then one boys seed didn't grow but then he became the emperor then we had to do the task.When we finish we have to ask the teacher if we can post it and she says yes then we can.

That Really Stinks (Zamera and Trinity)

Story Starter: That really stinks!

WALT: write an imaginative story with a buddy.

WALT: write sentences of different lengths.

Sam’s sister wasn’t going to believe that a huge toilet monster with three blood sucking tentacles took her smartphone. So Sam bravely went under the house and into the stinky sewerage pipe jungle.

What happens next?

When Sam got to  the sewerage jungle he whistle’s to the crocodile and then  jumps on it and says “follow that monster” he says` to the crocodile. But when the monster was riding on the crocodile the monster turns and walks into a scary dark cave. Sam runs into the scary cave and hides behind the rock, he sees that the green blood sucking monster has the phone and Sam sees five other purple monsters. While Sam was hiding behind the rock the monsters tap the phone which makes the fart noise come out and makes Sam laugh so hard that the monsters heard him. When Sam laughed the monsters found him behind the rock, then Sam saw the green monster and the purple monster, then Sam sees the phone he Swiped the phone from the monster's hand and ran as fast as he could, the monsters were chasing him until he went back up through the pole which took him back home.

“I think I  lost the monsters Sam” said, straight away. Sam gave back his sister's phone and when he gave the phone she said “ Why is my phone wet said Sam’s sister” then Sam back to his room and locked the door. I’m never making fart noises anymore, That’s how it ended.

Kiwi Kapers

I am brass musician i play with other people in other groups that play the brass too, some of the brass musician play the double brass. The Conductor uses the Baton to make the music go higher and lower by moving his and up and down slowly. The person that plays the conductor name is Maddie she sometimes makes mistake but she always finds away to fix it. When they are playing the brass instruments acrobats would come out and do tricks and do tricks in a hoola hoop. It was really fun to go watch the show.  

Problem Solving

Room 10 did a really cool NRich math problem and the maths problem is down below.It was called The Rectangle Tangled it says the large rectangle  above is divided into a series of a smaller quadrilaterals and triangles.In our maths book we had to write the divided series.Then after we have fishned then we can ask our teacher is we can post it on our blog and if she says yes then we can.By Zamera and Sonnia
